Homework: Mother's Day

Your Listen a Minute homework (well in fact it is from ESL Holidays Lessons, but let's call it that way) for next Wednesday: Mother's Day. Bring me your pendrives with three recordings at least. I'm afraid I won't accept you to submit it later than that, I'm sorry. If I do, it means going crazy. After having read and listened to it, perhaps you would like to comment on what it means for you, teenagers, to celebrate Mother's Day. Have you put a lot of effort into making a nice card for your Mum? Have you prepared breakfast for your Mum to have it in bed? Or, at least, have you taken her out for lunch?  Leave your comments, please, and explain. Greetings!

Puff... I didn´t do nothing to my mother! Because I saw her a little moment... But today I´ll invite to eat or something like that! I´m sure that she´ll like it! :)

I will not give away anything to my mother. I congratulated her and how that day couldn´t give away anything, I'll do another day that I know will do a lot of illusion. =)

Juan...It's a good question...for me the mother's day is any day because I love my mother all days of my life...but I gave her a present that I knew it would like her...a Orquidia and a special jam...and I remember her all days that she is one of the most important for me!!
Greetings!! =)

As for my mother's day is special because it is the day to celebrate with your mother and family I have never given anything because I have not had time for anything. But good in summer when you can buy her something and gifting because I have no time now to do anything just studying and studying. GOD IS MY LIFE STRESSORS JAJA

For me, Mother's day is a special day. I love my mother every day of the year but that day I like thank her all she does for me and I think that she deserves some detail, something sentimental. I know this makes her very exited.
I discuss a lot with my mum during the year, but this day I try to be fine with her. This year my sister, my father and I have give roses, sweets and a card made by us telling her we love her. ♥
