I am Lorena Gómez.
I am sixteen years old.
I haven´t any siblings.
I am living in Alcorcón since two years more or less.
Before, I lived in Carabanchel Alto.
I live here, in Alcorcón with my mother and my father lives in Carabanchel.
I do taekwondo since three years more or less, at the gym and at high school. I really like it!
I like walking with my friends, staying in the park, listening to music like pop music or flamenco, reading books especiality about the spanish war, doing sports... a lot of things!
About the food, I like eating pizza, cheese, chips... but I hate eating fish!
In the future I would like to be psycologist and then do oposiciones to become the nacional police.

Welcome to the first issue of our news program. We are going to talk about tennis, Taekwondo and football.

Tennis

Tennis has always been a very famous and popular sport, but in the last years it has evolved considerably on the media aspect. This evolution has ocurred because at the moment tennis has many good players, for example, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who are the two most popular players at the moment. There are also other popular players, such as Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, Andy Murray, Juan M. Del Potro, etc. After this short introduction about the world of tennis, there are some breaking news: Rafael Nadal has beaten Tommy Robredo in the Masters 1000 of Shanghai, 6-1 and 6-4. Consequently, Rafael Nadal will be in the quarterfinals of Masters of Shanghai and will play against Croatian Ivan Ljubicic. The rest of quarter finalists are: Davydenko, Djokovic, Soderling, Stepanek, Simon and Feliciano López.


Taekwon-do

"Taekwon-do" is a Korean martial art.It shows spectacular kicking techniques and is currently one of the most popular martial arts. It is a modern martial art, only over 50 years old. Besides being a martial art, Taekwondo also has an aspect of sports competition. At the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, 1988, it made its first Olympic appearance as an exhibition sport. In two weeks, at Parque Lisboa high school there will be an exhibition of Taekwondo for the students of this high school. It will be very interesting because the students will do a lot of kicks and "poomsae", the same as "catas" in karate. I hope that you like it!


Football

Alcorcón vs Real Madrid. The "Agrupación Deportiva de Alcorcón" is going to play against "Real Madrid" the 28th of October at "Santo Domingo" stadium, and on December 10th at "Santiago Bernabéu" stadium. Both teams will try to win in order to reach the "Copa del Rey" second round.

Hi! My name is David and I'm 17. I have a brother younger than me and three sisters older than me. I live in Alcorcón with my parents, my brother and one of my sisters.
I'm short, about 1 metre 70, not very tall. My hair is black and straight but I have it very very short, I like thus.
I like the Fridays, eat, the green colour and the number 13. When I go out I use to ride on my bmx, go to Madrid with my friends and/or with my girlfriend or simply stay in the street eating jejeje.
I'm catholic, I wanna study for psychologist, travel arround the world and learn to play the guitar.
I love hiphop music, my favourite MCs are Frank T, El Chojin, Shotta and Lirico but I also like so much Zenit, Kase O, Junaninacka, Tote King, and American rapers like Eminem, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill etc.

Estas son las distintas tareas para completar el proyecto final del curso.

Como reflexión personal, tengo que decir que el uso de blogs y wikis con los alumnos es altamente motivador para ellos. Se convierten en una prolongación de la clase y de alguna manera ellos lo ven como un juguete (en muchas ocasiones, yo también) y sin darse cuenta están practicando inglés (o la asignatura de que se trate en cada caso) y buscando información, o leyendo, o hablando en inglés y practicando su pronunciación para que la grabación que se va a hacer de su voz para su posterior publicación en el blog quede lo mejor posible. Está claro que el futuro de la enseñanza va por ahí (ahora el presidente del Gobierno promete ordenadores portátiles a partir de primaria a todos los alumnos) y más vale que nos pille preparados a nosotros los profesores, o mejor aún, preparémonos para ser nosotros los que introduzcamos las TIC en el aula de la mejor manera posible. Cursos como este, de iniciación en el uso de este tipo de herramientas son muy útiles para conseguir ese objetivo.

¿Cómo te gustaria que fuese la escuela del 2018?

Me gustaría tener plaza definitiva y que todos (o la inmensa mayoría de mis compañeros profes) la tuvieran también, para que la plantilla tuviera estabilidad y nos pudiéramos plantear un objetivo común sobre lo que queremos hacer en nuestro centro... Me gustaría que los profes colaboráramos más y tuviéramos objetivos comunes y remáramos todos en la misma dirección. Me gustaría que nos hubiéramos introducido en el uso de las tic en nuestra práctica docente y que estas herramientas fueran el pan nuestro de cada día en clase (Un instituo 2.0, Bienvenidos al centro del futuro, La era del encerado luminoso, etc, etc, etc...)
