We were in a plane for two hours, and before it, I was really excited and nervous, because it was the first time I had traveled by plane, but I found it very boring.
What I liked most was that we could do what we wanted during the trips, for example ,when we went to visit something, after doing it, we had about 3 hours of free time for doing what we would want.

We left the aiport when the policemen took my parents for to do a questioning due to the charge of kidnapping a girl like me...
I haven´t seen them and now I´m living in a place so distant from my home... (Lorena Gómez B1ºB)

I was there last Easter with my parents, my sister, my uncles and my cousins.
We visited a lot of places together. Santander is a fantastic place where there are many things. We were there for a week.
First of all, as soon as we arrive there, we went to the apartment, left the luggage and started our visit. We went to the beach, but as it wasn't summer we didn't bathe, so we walked around the beach and after that we went to the other places. I really love Santander's beaches because they are beautiful and very, very big. They were extremely crowded but the problem was that the water was cold.
During our stay there, we visited different villages that are located near the coast. Some of them are San Vicente De La Barquera, Suances, Noja, Laredo, Santoña... etc.
We visited some historic buildings as "The Gran Casino" of Santander, the "Palacio de la Magdalena" beside many different parts in every town. Furthermore, the weather during those days was very good; most of the days it was sunny, which allowed us to make a route around Santander. Some days the weather was cloudy and, one of them, it rained a lot. Anyway we got lucky, we could visit a lot of differents places because in general the weather was really good.
Eventually, one of the anecdotes I remember was that one of the days, the weather was really good and we spent the day in Laredo. In the morning, we visited the port of that village and a very curious thing is that the harbour was full of fish and people are pulling into this water from high curbs. Well, then, in the back of the beach had an annoying noise from the microphones and loudspeakers because they were testing for a concert or something like that. We were tired of that noise and finally, we decided to ask what concert they prepared, and they answer to us: "this night, Bustamante is going to sing there", so we had dinner near the beach and afterwards we went to the concert.
In my opinion, I love traveling to different places but I prefer places which have a beach. There are villages very older and beautiful to see, but I love the sea. The travel to Santander was funny and I would like to go again in the summer, so I can swim in their fantastic beaches.
That's all. Thanks for your attencion. =)

Start of the spring and the next holidays.
On March 21 spring began. The very cold winter changed into a mild spring which will be warm soon, Easter holidays begin and we have our school break. During these days, students will get their marks in all schools, which means that the second term is over and this year's last stage begins. Holidays officially begin on Friday 26 and, since then, students have a week and a half to rest. This term has been a long and complicated one but then, the most difficult one comes, so we have to enjoy our holidays as spring has just started. (By Natalia García).
An incident takes place in Alcorcón.
Last Sunday there was a fight with guns in Alcorcón at half past four in the afternoon in Polvoranca street in front of the disco ''Casablanca''. The fight was because of a drug business. A man owed money to other one, then they began to argue and they ended up shooting each other and then the boy that owed the money died because the other one killed him with the gun. Then the murderer tried to escape but the police caught him and the police saw that this man was carrying pot in his pockets and then the police went up his house and they discovered more pot there. This man was arrested by the police and I think that he is in prision. (By Eva Dalía).

Hi! My name's Rebeca Carnerero and my talk is going to be about Greece.
Thursday, 4 March 2010
Welcome to our tenth weekly program. Today we will talk about Pope John Paul II, Badalona FC and their anthem, and we bring you our question, only to be answered by football fanatics this time. But first,
JOHN PAUL II
Karol Wojtyla was born in Wadowice (Poland) on 18th March 1920 and died on 2nd April 2005 in Vatican City. His 26-years pontificate (1978-2005) was the third longest of the Catholic Church History, after Saint Peter's and Pius' IX popedoms. His beatification, to be concluded on October 2010, started three months after his death, without waiting for the five years specified by the rules of the Church. It is, actually, the agile rhythm of "the God's Athlete". In his papacy the most important highlights are: innovation of the pastoral practise (e.g: the worldwide christian youth meetings), his influence on the liberation of Poland and his four visits to Spain. After his death, a French woman who had Parkinson was miraculously cured. John Paul II changed the world history only with the strengh of the spirit, becoming a reference for all the people, catholics or non catholics. (By David Cirbián).
Last month a football club of Barcelona called Badalona FC decided to give up playing their own anthem because the company SGAE wants to be paid 140€ every time that the club plays the song in their stadium. It seems that the club asked for a new anthem in 2003 because of the centenary of the club. It was composed by two authors and one of them wants to take more money for doing it, and he acussed them to the SGAE. The team says that they can't pay for it because they have many teams in all categories and they would have to pay more than 1000€ every weekend, so they decided to pay for all the weekends that they have been playing the anthem up to now and not play it any more. (By Álvaro Muñoz).
To finish our program, we must give you the answer for last week's question. It was "What's the capital of the United Kingdom?" and the answer is... "London". Our new weekly question is: "Where will next world football championship be celebrated?" Leave your answer as a comment to this post. Thank you very much for your kind attention, we will meet again next week.

Hi, my name is Alejandro Montero and i'm going to talk about Denmark. The capital of Denmark is Copenaghe with more than five hundred thousand of people. The official language is Danish, one of the most difficult languages in the world because pronunciation is very hard.
Politic in Denmark is transparent and is the country with less corruption in Europe. The queen is Margaret the second but she hasn't any politic power and she doesn't take any decisions.
Aarhus, Aalborg and Copnhague are the main cities in Denmark because these cities produce the principal country's income by thing like tourism and export of food and energy. Weather in Denmark is cold and rainy in winter but warm and sunny in summer.
The currency of Denmark isn' the euro, is the danish crown and 1 euro is equal than 7'4 danish crowns.
Danish culture is based on empathy, solidarity, freedom, justice, every person is equal than other person, they haven't tabu topics and they have an open mind to new ideas. Either their main transport is the bicicle because they are ecologist.
Danish starts to study at 6 years old and they have 9 years of obligatori study. Curiosly, the university starts at 22 years old because when they are 18 they try to get a house and search a job and they have a help from goverment of 700 euros every month. That's why they can be independent and they can travel a lot. Furthermore, their parents prefer don't help with money to their sons because be independet means you must earn your own money.
In history, Vikings and the best identification about Denmark's history. They atack all Europe and they destroy most of it by sacking and attacks to important cities like Rome or Seville, in 844.
The official religion in Denmark is Protestan Christianity because in 1536 the protestant reform join to denmark and it makes a great impact in danish people.
Mayor cities in the UK are London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool, Edimburgh, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and Bradford.
Secondly, the capital of UK is London, its language is English and its currency is the pound sterling. The UK is currently a leading industrial and commercial nation of the world. In terms of gross domestic product it's sixth in the world after USA, Japan, China, Germany and France.
Speaking about the climate, is very cold and rainy troughout the year, more than half the days are cloudy. The British weather is highly variable and can go very quickly from a cold, rainy day to a sunny day in just a few hours.
Also, I will talk about their culture. The primary means of communication is television and her main channel is the BBC, that is the leading public radio station in the UK and the largest and oldest broadcaster in the world. Thus, the sport is a key element of British culture, because many sports were created in the UK, including football, rugby, cricket, tennis and golf (football remains the most popular in the country).
Finally, I say that the UK is a member of the EU since 1973. That's all, thanks!!

Futhermore his economy is mainly industrial and thirdly I may to say the weather that is a bit colder than Spain but there is abundant rain.
Overall is important to say part os his history. Italy saw to born the Roman Empire and after the fall os this Italy sufferd a series of Germani invasions.
In the centuries XV and XVI became the cultural center of Europe gave rise to the Renaissance.
